Mr. Engelstadt of Las Vegas searched all over Europe to find these rare 1939 Grosser G4 W-131 Mercedes Offener Tourenwagen Six Wheelers. When he found them they were so totally destroyed that he rebuilt them from the ground up to the exact detail in every case using factory blue prints and the actual skeletons when possible at the cost of nearly $10 million.

Only a few times in Hitler's travels did he use all three Grosser Six Wheeler Mercedes in one trip. The huge parade car was used for special events when Hitler wanted the most powerful vehicle to not only travel battered bombed streets but also to cross rough terrain to visit troops. They were stored at his various castles. The Mercedes Company had test photos of mountain climbing and rough terrain test drives of this Six Wheeler Limited Small Production Fleet. The G4-W131 Six Wheeler Parade Car, The G4-W131 Six Wheeler Radio Car (Instant Contact) and his G4-W131 Six Wheeler Luggage Vehicle that could double as an ambulance. This is a massive presentation, as no other example of these cars are in existence. It is believed that only one radio car was manufactured, and one luggage ambulance car was manufactured by Mercedes.
